ADU vs. JADU: What’s the Difference?
ADU: A separate, self-contained unit can be detached or attached. Includes a full kitchen, bathroom, and its own entrance.
JADU: A smaller unit built within the existing home or attached garage. Limited kitchen and shared utilities, but still a legal rental.
